SC Women's Caucus Embraces Transition to Web
The South Carolina General Assembly Women's Caucus is committed supporting issues that impact women and families in the state. Many members female legislators along with male legislators and other supporters who believe in their causes. Until 2010, they have not had a website.
Their new web presence was completed just in time to promote the 2010 Jean Laney Harris Luncheon - the Caucus' main fundraiser of scholarships for young women. The members of the Caucus only needed a single email invitation to the Luncheon to begin the transition from stuffy response cards to convenient online event registration. It makes sense: Caucus members are some of the busiest people around. They know how to manage their time efficiently. So, when a convenient reminder drops into their email box, they jump on it. The event was a success and the Caucus will forever be changed for the better.
