Inez Tenenbaum Campaign Hires RackesGroup to Build Online Strategy

Columbia, SC - TheRackesGroup, LLC will be handling all internet development and marketing for Inez Tenenbaum's 2004 race for the U. S. Senate. Tenenbaum, who was the highest vote-getter in her 2002 re-election big for South Carolina State Superintendent of Education, selected TRG because of their background in both traditional and online marketing.

According to Zeke Stokes, political director for the campaign, Tenenbaum intends to use internet technology in the manner introduced by John McCain in 2002 and Howard Dean in 2004. "Technology can help us reach more people, raise more money from a broader group of donors, and define Inez Tenenbaum as the candidate who understands South Carolina's needs best," said Stokes.

TheRackesGroup will use internet technology to help Inez2004 build and retain supporting audiences, attract online contributions, and extend Tenenbaum's positive visibility across the state.

The Rackes Group has been involved in advocacy since its inception. TRG leader Barbara Rackes managed electronic messaging for the unsuccessful Alex Sanders' bid for the Senate seat formerly held by Strom Thurmond, raising nearly $100,000 online in the final months of the campaign. She also defined the electronic messaging campaign that called members of the Cigarette Tax Coalition for Medicare to send more than 40,000 emails to SC legislators and Governor in the spring of 2003.
